History

Initially, the concept of a fully automated smart home system was introduced by none other than Nikola Tesla himself in 1898.

The introduction of appliances in the early 1930s paved the way to a prospective invention by the pioneers of the industrial revolution. A full home wiring all appliances which can all be connected to a central hub.

The first material version of a smart home skeleton was in 1966, when the Echo IV was made. Resembling the modern day control hub, users had the ability to change the temperature and turn appliances on and off. This of course was limited by the technology of the time.
